I’ve been catching up on it online myself (which has episodes through March 24 of the current airing schedule), but a lot of the joy seems completely gone from routines like morning cartoons on any given day of the week.

It’s decidedly aimed at a younger audience but some of the arcs are worth following and there’s plenty of tasteful old school references tucked away in there without getting too cloying. Boom Studios is continuing the story of Fully Charged with a new comic book series. Mega Man: Fully Charged is a six-issue comicbook miniseries based on the TV show of the same name. The series, which ran for 52 11-minute episodes, premiered on August 5, 2018, 1 2 airing on Family CHRGD in Canada, Pop in the United Kingdom, and Cartoon Network in the United States. The show was developed by Man of Action Entertainment, Dentsu Entertainment USA, and animated by DHX Media.

There is a lot happening on each page, but it never crosses the line from over simulating to over whelming. And while I was not familiar with the animated series that Fully Charged is set in, I am familiar enough with the character mythos and the general aesthetic of the universe to be engrossed by this interpretation of the character.
